and Pueblo civic organizations secured a major commitment from Xcel Energy to
significantly reduce pollution levels from the proposed expanded Comanche Power Plant
and to rely more heavily on cost-effective cleaner energy alternatives in
meeting Colorado’s future electrical generation needs.
